The Euroclydon Storm boys varsity home school basketball
team hosted Carolina Prep on Tuesday. The Storm dropped the
contest 107-69, after trailing only by seven at the half,
41-34.
Daniel Mullens led Storm in scoring with 25 points. He was
followed by Isaac Smith with 15.
Sam Williams finished with 12 points, while Isaiah Smith
finished with nine points. Austin Brown rounded out the scoring
with eight points.
The Storm dropped to 9-13 on the season.
The Storm boys junior varsity team hosted the home school
team from Alamance County on Tuesday and came away with a
convincing, 92-54 victory.
The Storm was led by the Smith twins, Isaac and Isaiah,,
with 24 points each. Isaac drained eight 3-pointers, while
Isaiah had four. Sam Williams finished with 19 points, and
Duke Ashley had 10 points. Christian Shull and Jeremy Bowen
finished with eight and seven points respectively. The Storm
is 3-1 in conference play, and improved to
15-2 overall.
In Middle School action, the Storm also defeated Alamance,
44-28. Leading the way were Aaron Mullens and Luke Ashley
with 16 and 15 points respectively. Mullens had four 3-pointers.
Matthew Bowen scored six points and Bryan Townsend scored
five. Austin Horner rounded out the scoring with two points.
The team is 5-3 in conference play and 7-6 overall.
