Roxboro police arrested two persons Tuesday in connection with the theft of copper from J.G. Hardison at 2727 Durham Rd.

Jeffrey Orlando Ball, 49, and Bernard Wayne Ball, 52, who each reside at 5657 Day’s Mill Rd. in Rougemont, were arrested in connection with the theft of an estimated $1,000 in copper.

Both were charged with felony counts of breaking and entering, larceny, possession of stolen goods and conspiracy.

The two were jailed under $5,000 secured bonds and are schedule to appear in Person County District Court on Oct. 9.

Deputies with the Person County Sheriff’s Department arrested Jason Royce Wilson, 28, of 279 Jeff Poole Rd. Wednesday on warrants issued in Mecklenburg County, Va.

Wilson is charged with felony counts of using a firearm in a commission of a felony and abduction by force as well as misdemeanor charges of assault on a family member and assault by pointing a gun.

Warrants for Wilson’s arrest were issued in Boydton, Va. on Monday. The incidents that led to his arrest reportedly took place in Boydton on Sept. 3 and Sept. 16.

Wilson was held without privilege of bond, while awaiting extradition to Virginia where he was slated to appear in Mecklenburg County District Court on Thursday.

Classie Renell Faulkner, 47, of 2929 Lawson Chapel Church Rd. was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Wednesday on a host of fraud-related charges.

Faulkner was charged with four felony counts of forgery of an instrument and uttering a forged instrument as well as four misdemeanor counts of larceny.

The incidents that led to Faulkner’s arrest reportedly took place on two dates in April and two dates in May.

Faulkner was released from custody after posting a $5,000 secured bond. She is scheduled to appear in district court on Nov. 6.
