Roxboro police arrested two persons Monday on drug-related
charges.
The two are alleged to have altered a prescription in an
attempt to obtain additional percocet pills at a local pharmacy.
The prescription was reportedly altered from an initial count
of 10 pills to 110.
Thirty-three-year-old Lenora Jackson Wilson of 329 Owens
St. and 34-year-old Carlos Devels Wilson of Durham were each
charged in connection with the incident.
The two face felony charges of attempting to obtain a controlled
substance by forgery and conspiracy.
The two, who are scheduled to appear in Person County District
Court on Nov. 25 to face the charges, were each held in custody
under a $5,000 secured bond.
Deputies with the Person County Sheriff's Department arrested
23-year-old Ricky Lee Grimes of 234 Kelly Carver Rd. last
Thursday on a host of drug-related charges following a traffic
stop at the intersection of Memorial Drive and North Main
Street. The arrest marked the second time within the past
month Grimes has been jailed on drug-related charges.
Last Thursday, Grimes was charged with felony counts of possession
of cocaine, possession of oxycontin and maintaining a vehicle
for the sale and delivery of narcotics. In addition, Grimes
was charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana
and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies reportedly found two grams of powder cocaine, 15
doses of oxycontin and 4.1 grams of marijuana during a search
of Grimes' vehicle.
Grimes was held in custody under a $50,000 secured bond.
He is slated to appear in Person County District Court on
Oct. 25 to face the charges.
